Third year first sem a.y. 2012-2013

First sem's officially over. Actually tagal na, ngayon lang ako nag post. Second sem na ngayon. Gusto ko lang i-share subjects ko last sem at experiences sa courses.. (Pinoy exchange lang? hihi)

Geog 101
Prof: Darlene Gutierrez
Grade: 1.75
Description:
Kinuha ko lang to kasi nag enjoy talaga ako sa Geog 1 class nung freshie ako. Gusto ko rin mag fieldtrip lagi, kaya Geog. Unfortunately di ako nakapag fieldtrip dahil natatakot mommy ko na bahain kami, itinerary kasi Bataan. Kakatapos lang ng monsoon rains kaya paranoid pa si mommy. Second time naman subic trip, wala nang gustong sumama, called off ang trip. Soo in short walang fieldtrip.:)) Exams naman, usually multiple choice, modified true or false, identification, etc. Objective ang exam kaya siguruhin mag memorize ng concepts. Meron din journal kung saan mag oobserba ka ng weather conditions for five days! Pwedeng digital copy or whatever, ikaw bahala kung paano mo present observation mo. Classmates ko non gumawa ng blog at yon sinubmit nila kay Prof. :-)

Prof: Jalton Taguibao
Grade: 1.25
Description:
Maraming readings! Hehe pero wag mag alala dahil dinidiscuss naman ni sir lahat ng pinakaimportanteng konsepto sa readings, ibigsabihin pag nag review ka doon ka mag focus. Masaya sa class kasi para ka lang nakikinig ng mga kwento ni sir, ayon pala lecture na pala yun! Akala ko kwentuhan lang. :)) Meron two exams at objective essay sila (pero nung time namin isa lang exam dahil may important matter si sir). Ikaw ang pipili ng limang tanong (out of 10?) na gusto mong sagutan. Bibigyan ka pa ng tips ni sir kung paanong technique ang gagawin mo sa pagrereview para sa exam. May group project at group paper din. Ano pa ba? Hehe dalawang commentary (min 1200 words), etc etc!

Polsc 170
Prof: Perlita Frago- Marasigan
Grade: 1.50
Description:
Mabait si ma'am!!! As in, mag focus lang kayo sa iisang libro as main text. May dalawang exams, mag memorize mabuti ng concepts (esp. mga nakalagay don sa box kasi lalabas talaga yun sa exam)! Multiple choice naman ang exam kaya wag masyado kabahan, hehe basta binasa mo ang chapters ni Hague & Harrop wala masyadong problema. Nahirapan lang talaga ako don sa first long exam kasi may blank map at kukulayan mo ang mga colonized state, etc. Kahit alam mo ang state e kung di mo alam saan siya don sa map? :)) May reporting din at cultural presentation.

Prof: Miriam Ferrer
Grade: 3.00
Description:
Pasalamat pa ako kay ma'am pinasa niya ko! Kasalanan ko talaga kung bakit naging tres yan, bagsak kasi ako sa first long exam. Di kasi ako nagbabasa ng readings masyado, so ayon kasalanan ko talaga to! May group activities, magsusubmit kayo ng groupwork regularly sa y! group (usually one groupwork per country). May dalawang exams, identification yun kaya mag-aral ng mabuti. Hehe. Meron ding modified true or false, 10 pts each item. At essay. Hmm, ano pa ba? May final group project pa, mag iinterview ng southeast asian at ipepresent sa class ang interview (e.g. thru video chat, voice interview, etc) sa end ng semester. Gawin ng maaga, mahalaga kay ma'am na nakapag contribute each mem. Kung sasabay kayong mag cram during hell week, diba good luck sa grupo niyo kung magkakita kita pa kayo. Tendency ay isa nalang ang gagawa ng project, which is kind of the case for our group. =))

Prof: Gene L. Pilapil
Grade: 2.00
Description:
Best prof ever! Ok biased ako, hehe. May student for the day every meeting, pag nabunot index card mo tatanungin ka ni sir ng five questions. Ikaw lang sasagot lahat non kaya siguruhing nakapag aral ng mabuti bago pumasok sa class! Kung di ka nakapag memorize, naku wag ka nalang pumasok, or else... >:) hehe, joke! Pero nakakahiya talaga maging student for the day nang di ka nakapag memorize. Based on experience! Isa lang ang exam, 60% yata yon ng final grade. Mga 80% ng exam galing sa lecture ni sir, objective exam. So kung mahilig ka mag memorize ng mag memorize kunin mo si sir. Kasi mga tanong sa exam, kunwari what is democratic transition? It is a transition from an authoritarian to a democratic regime. Maganda kung kumpleto yan maisulat mo para siguradong makuha mo ang two points per item. 20% ng exam naman galing sa required readings. Objective din to nung time ko ah, kaya kung binasa mo ng mga 10 times ang required readings baka uno ka na. Hehe. May bonus ang perfect attendance (always present at walang late)!


Medyo marami pang kulang sa description, pero malalaman mo nalang yan pag pumasok ka sa class. Galingan mo nalang! Haha, thanks for reading!

Random Thoughts at 1 o'clock in the Morning

I had a great day with faw and cess. Medyo late nga lang kami nag start pumasyal sa F. Homes, pero at least before pasukan nagkita-kita kaming tatlo. Chikahan lang and movie marathon (sort of)! Well the three of us agreed that we will do our best this second sem. Cos the previous sem sucked as in so much! We will not allow that to happen again, right? Hehe let's do our best guys and gals! We shouldn't let distractions get in our way. And oh, no love life allowed! For a change! Haha, studies first. Hope I wont change my mind later when I get to meet polsc 110, polsc 188, etc etc. :))

Tomorrow is the first day of enrolment but I am confused whether or not I should go to school. Supposedly, first day of enrolment's for freshie and graduating people only, but I'm thinking I might not get any GE (MST) if I would wait until the second day. So..what do you think? I still can't decide. So I guess I'll GO. Bahala na bukas, hihi. 

Ok time to hit the sack! Been sleeping really late the whole semestral break. Actually mas puyat pa ko ngayong sembreak kesa nong pasukan. Bad girl. :)) Till here guys! Have a good night sleep. And dont forget to drink your glass of milk! Haha, baby?

She is Jessica Jongko Biaro. We've been cousins since she was born and she had no choice.  Ayon ang alamat ng mag bespreng Tala at Kuku :")

Nung bata pa kami, palagi kaming magkadikit niyan. Kaya nga kami napagkakamalang kambal; B1 at B2 nga raw kami kahit sobrang magkaiba kami ng personality. Kung gaano ako katahimik as in walang imik e ayun namang ikinulit at sobrang bibo nitong pinsan ko. Kung gaano ako ka negrita at bungi ay siya naman kinaganda ng skin at teeth niya. Kaya nakakapagtaka na palagi nalang tinatanong kung "Kambal ba yang anak niyo?" Lol lugi po.

Super perfect na ng life ko with her pero dumating sa puntong pinag hiwalay kami ng tadhana; lumipat sila ng bahay at kasabay nun ang pag transfer niya sa ibang eskwelahan. Dahil don ay nagkaron na ako ng panibagong bestfriend.. at bestfriend... at bestfriend at bestfriend. Ayon ang dami na hanggang sa nakalimutan ko na siya. Charing! Actually siya nga maraming friends diyan eh. Super friendly kaya nitong pinsan ko, hanggang sa pagtanda ay nadala niya pa rin ang pagiging maharot at pilya niya. Kaya maraming nagmamahal sa kanya :) Gusto mo ba malaman kung sino sino mga yon? Halika at isa-isahin natin...

Wag ka matakot sa mga darating pang trials, mula sa bagsak na exam hanggang sa pusong sawi. Kasi alam mo naman palagi kita dadamayan diba? Singko lang ba... heartbreak lang ba.... kailan ba ko nagpahuli sa ganyan? Oh diba may karamay ka. Hehe. Mag pinsan tayo eh!!! Basta mag aaral tayo ng mabuti ah at gagraduate tayo pareho, makikita nila! :D at sabay tayo mag eexplore sa buhay. At magtatravel sa North Korea at Guyana! Pero sa ngayon hanggang sine na 25 pesos only lang tayo muna.

I miss you bading. I miss all of our happy moments together! Let's make more ah? I love being crazy with you and how comfortable I am when I'm with you. Newbie baby

Hello! I'm a newbie here and this is my first post. I dedicate this to all my loved ones. I love you all! :D

I still have class tomorrow but I'm still up til now (it's 12:54am)! I don't want to sleep yet because I'm really excited about my new blog that I wanna post everything that happened to me in the past nineteen years of my existence. Hehe. Jk. I just can't sleep yet because I am waiting for someone to remember that I still exist and to actually text me at least once. Guess who!!! Hahaha. Oh wellz, I guess it's not gonna happen anymore. It's been a whole day of waiting and you see... I've waited for nothing. 

Doesn't matter, I still have a whole lot of twenty four hours tomorrow, so much more room for waiting! Oh yes pwede nang ipako sa krus! Good night self! Good night reader! Sweet night x
